Confirmada que está uma extensa tour pelos Estados Unidos e que os vai juntar a Cannibal Corpse, Obituary e Frozen Soul, os vikings Amon Amarth apresentam mais um single. Desta vez a escolha recaíu sobre "Saxons and Vikings", retirado de "The Great Heathen Army", o mais recente álbum da banda.
A grande novidade deste tema prende-se com o facto de elementos dos Saxon (Biff Byford, Paul Quinn e Doug Scarratt) se juntarem aos suecos, sem qualquer margem para perdão.
Sobre esta colaboração Johan Hegg, vocalista dos Amo Amarth comenta: "Recording this song with the legends from SAXON was amazing. It was such an honor to have them on this track, and to shoot a video with them was so much fun. I think the video came out great, really epic. It captures the essence of the song perfectly and the fight scenes are awesome!"
